Board Meetings

The Board meets at 6:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month (except July, unless otherwise posted).

Meetings are held in the Board Room at the Anderson District Two Administrative Office.  All members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings. 


Guidelines for addressing the board:  (Please refer to Board Policy BEDH.) 
 
The following procedures are designed to encourage participation while ensuring the orderly management of board meetings. Participants will adhere to the following.
•   Read and complete a board Public Participation form (see exhibit BEDH-E) and submit it to the board’s administrative assistant by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting at which the individual wishes to address the board.
•   Confine comments to matters germane to the business of the board.
•   Speak only one time at any meeting and not yield time to another speaker.
•   Refrain from racial comments, obscenities, vulgarities, reference to specific individuals by name, derogatory comments about specific individuals or other breaches of respect.
•   Refrain from compliments regarding specific individuals.
•   Adhere to the three-minute time limit.
•   Understand that the board will not normally respond to speakers orally but will respond in writing within a reasonable time.
