Mr. Chad LoveMeet Mr. Chad Love, our December Teacher Spotlight!

How long have you been teaching?

I have been teaching for five years with the past three years being at Belton Elementary School.

What are some of your favorite things about teaching?

My favorite things about teaching all revolve around relationships. Each day I get to wake up and work with amazing students to help them meet and exceed their goals. For me this is a dream come true. I am blessed to teach with phenomenal teachers and administrators who are all willing to help and encourage each other to meet the needs of our students. The happiest moments for me are when I get to pull a student out in the hallway and call home to celebrate with the student and their family about the accomplishment of a goal.

What do you hope students will learn and take away from your classes?

As a Special Education Teacher no two classes are similar for me. I teach ELA and math in an inclusion setting. This allows me to work with students with disabilities and students without disabilities. I hope that my students learn no matter what life throws their way that with hard work they can overcome and be successful. I want all my students to be life long learners and to set high expectations for themselves and to be proud of their hard work an accomplishments.
