Volunteers

Anderson School District Two encourages parents/guardians and other members of the community to share their time, talents, resources, and abilities with our students. Volunteers in our schools enrich the educational program and strengthen our school’s relationship with homes, businesses, public agencies, and private institutions.

The District appreciates all of our volunteers and thanks to each one for making a positive difference in the lives of our students and for being a tremendous asset to our teachers and staff.

All volunteers must complete the Application, submit the application form and picture id to the school in which they wish to serve (you can take this information to one school and still serve in all schools of the district once approved). The application and copy of the picture id will be forwarded to the district office for processing. A letter will be mailed to each volunteer informing them of their status as approved or unapproved. The timeline is typically 7-10 school days for approval.

All volunteers are subject to a criminal background check and a check of the SC Sex Offender Registry and the National Sex Offender registry. These checks will be conducted by the Human Resources Department.

The administration reserves the right to add and remove any volunteer’s name from the District volunteer list as it deems in the interest of the students and the District.
