Honea Path, S.C. - Anderson School District Two is excited to announce the completion of the new 3k/4k wing at Honea Path Elementary School.
The new addition will be open when students return to campus for the 2024-2025 school year.
“We are so excited about our new wing at Honea Path Elementary,” said Principal Jeremy Sauceman. “Over the past nine years, our 3k and 4k students have been in classrooms on the middle school campus. The new wing will provide these students, teachers, and staff an opportunity to be united with our entire school under one roof. By being together our administrators will be able to better support our fabulous teachers and assistants who work tirelessly to meet the needs of our students.”
The new wing was built on the corner of Wilkerson Boulevard. It includes 4 classrooms, office space, and a new front entrance.
“The new wing will have four classrooms which will be used for our two 4k classes, our 3k/4k tuition-based class, and one special education class,” said Sauceman. “Not only will this allow all our students and staff to be together, but it will also provide a much-needed new beautiful front entrance. I would like to thank Mr. Jason Johns, superintendent of ASD2, and the ASD2 board of trustees for providing this much-needed space for our school. I would also like to thank Mr. Phillip Hayes for overseeing the construction.”
Honea Path Elementary School welcomed students back for the first day of school on August 1, 2024.
