
Congratulations to the following BHP Juniors for being selected to participate in the 2022 session of American Legion Auxiliary Palmetto Girls State and American Legion Boys State: Julia Gilreath and Elizabeth Brice; Jordan Frady, Andrew Dickerson and Barrett Gambrell. During the summer, these students will participate in a week of learning about government, citizenship, and leadership. It is a prestigious honor to be selected as a Palmetto State Delegate!

ASD2 is proud to announce Mr. John Anderson as our new Director of Technology! John is currently in Pickens County School District as the Director of IT serving 23 schools and over 17,000 students. John's broad industry technical knowledge and extensive experience will allow him to immediately contribute to serving our schools. John and his family live in Belton. While his transition will begin this spring; his official start date will be July 1. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Anderson.

The annual Spring Arts Showcase will be on exhibit at the Belton Center for the Arts through March 24th. Come see the talent and development of our students under the guidance of our outstanding K-12 art department.


Belton Elementary students were surprised today with a visit from Reedy Rip'It, the mascot of the Greenville Drive baseball team. More than 180 students have completed the Reading All Star Challenge and have qualified for a free ticket to see the Drive play in April.


March is National Athletic Trainer Month and we’re so grateful for Belton-Honea Path’s AT, Jennifer Smith. As a certified athletic trainer, Jennifer makes sure our student athletes are safe at games, practices and any time they visit her in the training room. Artwork from all schools will be displayed at the Belton Center for the Arts beginning with an opening reception on February 24th from 3:30-5:30. The art will be on display February 24th - March 24th for parents and the community to enjoy.
