This incredible opportunity is available for students who meet specific criteria:
Eligible students must qualify for free/reduced meals OR have Medicaid. Students must be 4 Years Old by September 1.


This past weekend the BHP Jazz Big Band performed at the SCBDA Jazz Performance Assessment in Columbia, SC. The band had an amazing performance and received straight "Superior" ratings from all three judges. This is the highest rating a band can receive at JPA. Congratulations to these students and Director Tim Lawson!


In Mrs. Keown's class at Honea Path Elementary, learning can be messy! Sometimes sensory play is the best way to learn. Mrs. Brooks helped students try out the shaving cream center!

Wright Elementary welcomed Reedy Rip'It, the mascot for the Greenville Drive, this week! Students at WES are participating in the Reading All-Stars Challenge sponsored by the Drive. Students who complete the challenge will receive a voucher to attend the Reading All-Stars game at Fluor Field in the spring. #ASD2Advantage


Mr. Cothran’s 5th-grade class enjoyed learning to play chords on the ukulele this past week in Music at Belton Elementary School! #ASD2Advantage


The following FFA teams were recognized during the February school board meeting:
Wildlife
The wildlife management CDE team repeated at state champions in the SCFFA Wildlife Management CDE. Team members were Selah Elgin, Almaz Trubachev, Shelby Holden, and Nicholas Davis.
Veterinary Science
The Veterinary Science CDE team competed at the SCFFA Veterinary Science CDE and finished as state runner-ups. Team members were John Hopkins, Olivia Bowen, Annabelle Gambrell, and Taylor Kelly.
Agricultural Mechanics
The Agricultural Mechanics team competed against all the other state-winning teams in the nation at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis. The team finished with a silver placing. The team was also recognized at the national convention for being one of the top 10 teams in welding, and for being one of the top five teams in the machinery and equipment section. Lauren Phillips was recognized as being the highest-scoring individual in the machinery and equipment section. Team members are, Connor Dyar, Harley Mitchell, Lauren Phillips, and Jakob Turner.
