Belton Middle School is proud to recognize Mrs. Tribble. Mrs. Tribble is passionate about the students in her classroom and teaching! She pours into each student with a welcoming heart when they enter her classroom. The time she puts into each lesson preparation for World Hist and SC Hist really shines through her teaching. She has embraced teaching middle school and her commitment to each student's learning is awe-inspiring. We are grateful to have Mrs. Tribble as part of the Warrior family!

In Music at HPE, third graders are learning to read and count rhythms from whole notes all the way down to sixteenth notes. Here they are playing drumsticks with Quaver's "Sixteenth Note Samba".

Last week every student at Marshall Primary was delighted to invite families to join us for a classroom visit. Thanks to Title One funding, every student received a book to keep. Families read the book together and enjoyed a craft. It was a wonderful time!

In the Belton Elementary School library, students have been using a new kiosk to practice how to look up books in the Destiny Discover catalog. Each week students are getting better at independently locating books in the library. They are learning about different genres, and how certain sections are color-coded within the kiosk. Belton Elementary has already checked out 472 this week!

Second-grade art students at Wright Elementary School read "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds. They transformed dots into a floral design using warm and cool colors. This week they are creating the center of their flowers using lines, designs, and patterns. According to Mrs. Latimer, "It's so much fun getting to work with young artists and inspire creativity! We love to get messy and explore new ways to create. As always, I'm excited for all of the great things we will make in art this year!"

This Montessori K5 student was eager to share his "CVC" words that have the short e sound. Liam is a fantastic reader!
