Children's Mental Health Awareness Week is May 1-7. Studies show that half of those who will develop mental health disorders show symptoms by age 14 and that early intervention is crucial. At ASD2, we are grateful to partner with local organizations such as the Dept. of Mental Health, NAMI, Federation of Families of South Carolina, as well as others to support students' mental health needs.
Congratulations to Heather Williams for being named the A2 Induction Teacher of the Year! Heather teaches kindergarten at Honea Path Elementary School.
