We are thrilled to announce a special holiday project created by our talented high school art students under the direction of art teachers Josiah Jones and Dawnyelle Moore. Each day we will reveal a new card designed with creativity, passion, and festive cheer. These cards are not just beautiful pieces of art; they are a testament to the skills and imagination of our students. Spread the holiday spirit by following our daily reveals as we countdown to Christmas. Let's make this season merry and bright, one card at a time.

Wright Elementary students were treated to a Christmas concert by the Belton Middle School Choir. What a wonderful way to kick off December!

Belton Middle School would like to recognize Mrs. Schmidt. Mrs. Schmidt teaches 7th grade ELA. Mrs. Schmidt is approachable, not only to students but to everyone at BMS. She is someone that the students know they can go to with any problems or concerns or even just to share a funny story. She is caring, enthusiastic, accessible, and patient. She can adjust her teaching strategies to fit both the students and the material by recognizing that different students learn in different ways. She is a positive light for all and this pours into all she encounters. Belton Middle School is lucky to have Mrs. Schmidt and grateful to have her as a member of the family.

Fourth and fifth-grade students at Wright Elementary recently participated in the King Arthur Baking Company's Bake For Good program. Students learned the math and science of making bread from scratch. Next week, students will bake the bread recipe together in school. Each recipe makes two loaves, one to keep and one to share as an act of kindness.
