The Lady Bears Tennis Team had a hugely successful season. In regular match play, we were 12-2 for the season. We were 8-0 in the region and were named region champions for the fifth year in a row. In September, we hosted the Hall of Fame Classic in which our team was awarded the sportsmanship award. We won the first three rounds of playoffs getting us to the upper state championship against Daniel High School. This was a close competition as we lost 3-4. The following players were voted on for All-Region: Maggie LeCroy, Jessica Callaham, Natalie Brown, and Elizabeth Knight. Maggie LeCroy was named the Region Player of the Year. Maggie LeCroy and Jessica Callaham were selected to compete in the state singles tournament in Florence, South Carolina. Maggie LeCroy was selected for North/South and will compete for the North team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This team is the epitome of determination and teamwork and accomplished great things by supporting each other and working together.

Belton Middle School is proud to recognize Mr. John Fulmer. Mr. Fulmer does an excellent job with the Warrior Band Program and has developed the program into what it is today. He is positive and encouraging but also has the ability to balance out critiques and compliments to his students. His positive attitude and encouraging words play a major role in our 6th-8th grade band student's overall confidence in their musical skills and abilities. His hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed! We are grateful to have Mr. Fulmer as part of our Warrior family.
